I’m Kate
By day, I work in policy, navigating the complex systems that shape our society. By night, I host this feminist finance podcast to prove that money is, and always has been, a deeply feminist issue.
While this show is proudly based in Australia, the fight for financial equality is global. I created this space because women carry our economy on our backs, yet we still face a massive gender pay gap, own less property, and retire with significantly less wealth. Despite doing the most, the traditional financial system simply wasn't built for us. It was built by men, for men, presumably during a meeting where someone decided pockets on women's trousers were also unnecessary.
We aren’t here to give you outdated, patronising advice like skipping your morning coffee, because funnily enough, a flat white has never been the primary obstacle to home ownership.
This is a platform for genuine financial empowerment for women. We are here to smash through systemic barriers, talk loudly about global economic equity, and give you the tools to build actual financial power.
